Your Partner in Gifted Child Advocacy

At CCAGTC, we believe every child, especially those from underserved communities—such as Black, Latino, Native American, Pacific Islander, low-income, English learners, and twice-exceptional students—deserves the chance to uncover and nurture their unique talents. We empower parents to become advocates for their children's success, offering guidance on navigating schools, accessing advanced programs, and unlocking opportunities in academics, the arts, and beyond. Let's work together to ensure every child thrives!

Community Building

We build networks of creativity and innovation through partnerships with community-based programs focused on technology, visual arts, performing arts, music, dance, athletics, and creative expression—nurturing all aspects of gifted and talented development. We believe communities become stronger when every child's unique gifts contribute to the collective brilliance.

Advocacy

We disseminate critical information to school districts and public officials about the ongoing needs of gifted students in Central Los Angeles. We advocate persistently for equitable access to all programs—academic acceleration, arts education, STEM opportunities, creative workshops, and athletic development—regardless of race, gender, age, location, income, or disability. We don't accept barriers; we dismantle them.

Empowerment

We provide families with information about their educational rights, creating access points that empower parents to advocate effectively for their children and ensure they receive the services and opportunities they're entitled to. We teach parents to become their child's most powerful advocate, equipped with knowledge, confidence, and community support.

Access

We create opportunities for children to access community-based programming that nurtures their gifts and talents, removing financial barriers that prevent participation. Through scholarships, partnerships, and direct programming, we ensure that family income never determines whether a child gets to explore their potential in the arts, sciences, technology, athletics, or any area where their talent may shine.
